Skyline Morning

I got up in the middle of the night to watch and perhaps photograph the Geminids Meteor Shower. There was no moon to compete with the shooting stars, and it was a terrific show - lots of shooting stars of all sorts - bright, long, faint, fast...

No photos - it was very cold and windy - and I left all three pairs of gloves back home. But it was glorious to witness!

I did stay for the sunrise, which, without clouds, was rather mundane. And since I was in the hills, I watched a number of hawks and kites and harriers search for their breakfast. Two redtail hawks were patroling this canyon...
