Griz Looking Both Ways before Crossing the Road
We watched this bear come towards the road from a treeline from picture right. He crossed the road, and we watched him amble in the chaparral foraging for whatever. They eat anything, from insects and berries to other critters. You can clearly see the huge claws and shoulder hump that identify this as a grizzly rather than a black bear.
